Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This MVP policy explains how ImageURL.net handles images uploaded to the service. It is a starter policy and should be reviewed and adapted to your legal entity, jurisdiction, and final product configuration before launch.
Images and upload data
When you upload an image, we process the file to validate its format, store it, and provide a direct image URL. We may keep basic technical metadata such as file type, file size, dimensions, object identifier, upload time, and service logs.
Anonymous uploads and retention
You may be able to upload an image without creating an account. Anonymous uploads are intended for convenient sharing and may be automatically removed after the retention period configured for the service, currently planned as 90 days. Images may also be removed earlier for abuse prevention, legal compliance, security, or operational reasons.
We describe links as long-lasting direct image links. This does not mean that every anonymous upload is guaranteed to remain available forever.
Storage and delivery
Uploaded files may be stored with a third-party object storage provider and delivered through a content delivery network. The public image URL is designed to serve the image file directly and may be cached by browsers and CDN providers.
Security and abuse prevention
We may apply upload limits, rate limits, file validation, and other controls to protect the service. We do not intentionally support arbitrary file uploads; unsupported or invalid files may be rejected.
Deletion requests
If the product provides a deletion control or deletion token, use it to request removal of an uploaded image. We may retain limited records needed to prevent abuse, investigate incidents, or comply with law.
